Connecting Philanthropy and Community is Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy's signature event and will recognize two leaders in the local philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, whose work exemplifies a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the black community. We are honored to have as our keynote speaker Nikole Hannah-Jones, Pulitzer Prize–winning reporter and creator of the landmark 1619 Project.
